What to expect during a consultation

A lot of time is spent on the consultation prior to my coming to your home. I have you send me a blueprint or sketch of the layout of your home. This enables me to lay the bagua out on it and determine areas that I will want to be sure to address during our consultation.

There is also a general questionnaire that is completed ahead of time and returned along with several forms/questionnaires pertaining to the five elements. By balancing the five elements in your home as they relate to your personal situation, you can experience more balance in mind and body, as well as your environment.

When we get together for the consultation, I spend time getting to know what it is that you would like to gain from the Feng Shui consultation and what the issues are in our life that you would like to address. All consultations are strictly confidential.

We take a tour of your home and I point out Feng Shui challenges that I see and we pay particular attention to the areas that are of concern to you. I recommend a number of possible options for enhancing the energy of those areas. The best solutions are the ones that feel right to you. There are so many different ways to activate the energy for a particular gua, that there is surely one that will resonate with you and will bring you the best results.

I use our time together as a teaching tool as well as a consulting one. My goal is for my clients to understand why they are doing the things that I recommend. Another goal is to make sure that my clients like and utilize all their rooms. There are many tips that I offer to make each room feel comfortable, nurturing, and aesthetically pleasing, as well as stimulating that harmonious flow of Ch'i.

A complete, written list of recommended enhancements and cures is left with you to refer to along with a number of handouts that will help with your Feng Shui enhancements.
